What's the difference between integration and automation?

For example, if you are an Amazon seller, you want to connect your WMS to Amazon so that both systems can work together. Automation is creating a processes that performs tasks without any human intervention needed. Using the same example, the automation for our Amazon seller would create orders in the WMS without an employee present, that order would be raised to the warehouse team who can then pick and ship the item. The automation saves time and resources as an employee does not have to manually raise each order to then send to the warehouse team.
